This Weather Plays All Day
Fall in NYC simply means that you have all four seasons in one. Minus the snow the temperature fluctuates like crazy! This obviously has most of us layered up and trying our best to avoid whatever the newest flu trend is.
My husband and I get our kids every recommended vaccine except for the flu vaccine. So because of that we try our best to combat any possible cold in all other ways. Now realistically the kids are in day care and school so they are susceptible to all the germs and bugs that float around. Yuck!
My idea of helping to build their immune system involves eating as healthy as they will allow. I mean I don’t really want to get in the way of their chicken nuggets and french fries diet. But once in a while I’ll get them to eat fruit and a possible vegetable.
Besides that I get them to eat a multivitamin once a day. This to me will give their bodies whatever it is lacking and help to build their immunity. I myself am drinking Vitamin-C packs and if my throat even tries to itch I’m buying a bag of halls.
Good luck staying healthy this season. And please share any other tips or tricks you guys have!
