6 AM Supermarket Run
Lately I’ve been consumed by everything and everyone else that I’ve neglected my home. I swear my motto is “life is aout balance” but every once in a while my scale is leaning on one side more than the next.
Today I clearly woke up on the right side of the bed. I got up early (like early early) and got ready for the day. Fixed Kendra’s hair, grabbed my bags and headed out the door.
I got in the car and didn’t realize that it was that early. Either I was going to get the earliest start to my work day or I was going to be productive and make the most out of my time.
So I decided to be responsible (insert eye roll) and headed to the supermarket. I sat in the parking lot thinking there was no way they are truly open. Thankfully someone pulled in the same time as me and headed right in.
That gave me all the courage I needed to go in and knock out a task that I would normally try to do during my lunch break or quickly after work before picking up the kids.
I was so happy I even picked up treats for my husband! Lol! It made me feel good to get the shopping done. And to have my family start their day with some of their favorite things.
Not sure that I would make this my new routine. But it’s good to know it’s an option.
